A Banner Day

Presents I received today

The Sun

The Moon

The Goodies

I had a really, really good day. Then, around 3:00pm, my energy faded away and all I could think about was getting home and getting comfy. I nearly fell asleep watching television about an hour ago.

All this to explain the 'light' blogging tonight.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. It's always the short work weeks that seem like the longest.

Given what you do in the run of a day, it's no surprise your energy is sapped by 3! When I used to work in an office (and my kids were young enough that my schedule was like yours), 3PM would be when I'd have to retreat from all the people I worked with, find a nice quiet place where nobody could see me, close my eyes, and just be with myself for a few minutes. I'd come out recharged, calm, and ready to face the two hours left in the day.

I'm glad you had a great day, darlin'. You're one of those people who spreads the joy around ...

... although I note you didn't share the brownies.

It's always the work weeks that seem the longest.

There are some brownies in our break room, but I am showing great restraint.

"Short work weeks seem the looongest . . . ."

You're allowed a quiet night with all that you get up to usually! Happy Birthday for yesterday. Oh and I love the new design. :)
